That crater is located right in the middle of the field driving from the bottom of Laki towards the coast. What goes trough my mind spending time there is what happened here cause these craters are I think 25km long and came in the biggest eruption in Iceland that we know of and people believe it affected the weather in France. 

The moss there is abs amazing and turns even neon green when it rains there. This area of iceland is very much alive to me and it affected me alot visiting it.
