My name is Ingibergur Thor and I'm born and raised in Grindavik, Iceland, which is located in Reykjanes peninsula.
I was given my first camera at the age of 12 and that camera was a 35mm Practica made in Germany. My freedom at that time was to go out and shoot landscapes in the backyard of Grindavík.

I started learning photography when I was that young and went to school to learn it at the age of 17 years old and took few years there but had to give it up for a u-turn that happened in my life. The man that signed the contract to teach me as it was done in those days passed away years ago. God bless him.

I was always going to step into my dads and grandfathers steps, and became a fisherman. For many years I worked as a fisherman and I have degrees there to be a captain on a 30ton boat. It was in the blood to be a fisherman. I was 14 years old when I went on my first trip to the sea working and being paid. I gave up on that when my first child was born in the year 2006, but still I miss that being out in the open water.

Now I work as a driver/travel assistant for a global company which is based in Iceland, and in between that, I work as a photographer. My passion is shooting landscapes either with my Canon or my DJI Mavic drone. I shoot a lot of real estates as well. I've been documenting the nature disaster in Grindavík, shooting that for the town itself and the media.

With this print site becoming alive I just want to tell you that it would be such an honor to sell prints and give my photos more life then just being stuck on my server.
The prints will have my authentic signature.
